Overview

We are working with the digital arm of a global manufacturing organisation to recruit a C#/.NET developer to work on the build of a manufacturing execution system. This project will involve building an updated version of a pre-existing system for one of the end-client's customers. This system will be deployed to a brand-new client site and will be integral to the smooth operation of the customer's business.

You will work as part of a small project team who will work on feature development and will be responsible for building custom integrations with various physical devices.

Requirements

An experienced engineer is required for this role. This role requires someone with expertise across:

• Working experience of custom software applied to Manufacturing processes

• Fluent knowledge of .NET/C# (.NET 4.x), WPF, WinForms, WCF, SQL, APIs

• Expertise in all areas of Application Lifecycle and Software Development Life

• Enhancing integrations with factory devices and other applications (eg SAP)

• Create PowerBI visualisations to support Data Analytics

• Expertise in all areas of Application Lifecycle and Software Development Life Cycle including:

• Requirements Management

• Programming

• Testing

• Release Management
