Job description

  • Your main responsibilities will include managing incident and request fulfillment tickets within defined SLAs. You will also be tasked with monitoring key health indicators of our infrastructure and responding effectively to actual or predicted issues. Supporting projects and new initiatives, as well as participating in the investigation and remediation of vulnerabilities or security breaches, will be part of your role. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the implementation of infrastructure design and build best practices.

Requirements

  • We require you to have a minimum level of technical expertise that includes holding an NPPV3 clearance. You should be an experienced 3rd line Infrastructure Technical Specialist, particularly with strong skills in Windows 11 deployments. It is essential that you have dual experience in traditional Infrastructure BAU support within an ITIL environment, as well as familiarity with Azure IaaS, PaaS, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows technologies, including installation, Active Directory, WDS, DNS, DHCP, DFSR, and Group Policy is a must. Additionally, you should have experience with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware and vSphere, along with knowledge of IT and Cyber Security measures (such as firewalls, antivirus, security patching, IDP/IDS) and SAN technologies covering storage configuration, provisioning, Fibre Channel connectivity, and zoning., We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who possesses strong technical skills and is comfortable working in both BAU and project workstreams. This is a 6-month remote opportunity.
