Job description
- Document security configurations and maintain security standards.
- Proactively manage technical vulnerabilities across systems and platforms.
- Deploy and configure security tooling, including vulnerability scanners and SIEM solutions.
- Develop alerts and dashboards within SIEM environments.
- Apply secure lockdowns to information systems.
- Support 2nd-line Security Analysts in triaging critical security incidents.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience configuring SIEM tooling.
- Understanding of threat frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and securing software pipelines.
- Strong written communication skills for reports and documentation.
- Experience supporting government or defence-sector systems (desirable).
- Experience developing SOC use cases and playbooks (desirable).
- Experience configuring CI/CD tools and Kubernetes (desirable).
- Knowledge of MOD policies such as JSP 440 (desirable).
- Experience with Elastic Security SIEM, Nessus/Tenable (desirable).
- Understanding of MOD assurance processes (desirable).
