Job description

As a Technical System Manager, you strengthen our proprietary engineering team and take responsibility for creating high-quality engineering deliverables throughout the Basic Data, Basic Engineering, and Detail Engineering equipment delivery phases of the project.

  • Coordinate engineering activities and support stakeholders for your assigned technical system.
  • Initiate engineering tasks, analyze contracts for technical completeness, and prepare design and inspection plans during project start.
  • Lead, monitor, and report on engineering work packages throughout the project
  • Resource planning including assigning work packages to external partners
  • Monitor and being responsible for the performance of the external partners in terms of completion of the work packages within budget and time
  • Conduct technical meetings, maintain documentation, and facilitate risk assessment.
  • Prepare and oversee the technical procurement specification
  • Provide technical support during the equipment fabrication and manufacturing with the vendors and work closely with QA/QC department
  • Integrating design to service concepts into the engineering solution for the equipment
  • Support planning of budgets, deliverables, and overall project engineering requirements.
  • Approve engineering deliverables and assist with change management and technical clarifications.
  • Ensure proper handover of technical documentation and document lessons learned at project close.
  • Support customer acceptance processes and oversee performance testing

Requirements

You alredy have proven experience and mechanical knowledge to design the Fluidized Bed Equipment. In addition, you bring the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical and Plant Engineering or comparable qualification.
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes, digital tools, and design methods.
  • Strong working knowledge on design tools like Inventor 3D, and AutoCAD Mechanical.
  • Detailed knowledge in vessel design acc. to International Codes and standards (ASME, PED, DIN/EN, AD2000)
  • Reliable, solution-oriented working style with high attention to detail.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
