Software Engineer - GammaLabs

Someone who can provide technical implementation of various systems which reside in the BSS/OSS space. Build responsibility and understanding of technical requirements such as capacity, security, maintainability, and other non-functional aspects. What will you be doing day-to-day?

• Collaborating on technical design and architectural decisions for new and existing systems
• Writing clean, efficient, and scalable Java code Conducting and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and
• knowledge
• Creating and maintaining automated tests to ensure functionality and reduce regressions
• Working with CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy software quickly and reliably
• Taking part in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
• Implementing and integrating with a variety of internal and third-party systems as required

• Experience of Java (Java 8 minimum)
• Experience of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience of SQL
• Experience of RESTful API design
• Experience using version control (ideally Git)
• Experience working in an Agile methodology
• Familiarity with CI/CD and related tooling
• Experience of test automation tooling (such as JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium)
• Experience with Jira or a similar work tracking tool
