3rd Line Engineer (Projects)

A growing MSP in Bolton is looking for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer to deliver a wide range of exciting projects for SME clients across the North West and be an escalation point for the service desk.

This is a project-focused role, not just a ticket-driven support position. You'll take ownership of projects through to delivery, working with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading infrastructure projects end to end
• M365 and Azure migrations
• Server builds, upgrades, and migrations
• Network upgrades (firewalls, switches, VPNs, VLANs)
• Office relocations and IT setups
• Backup and disaster recovery implementations
• Client-facing technical delivery and documentation

• Proven MSP experience (essential)
• Microsoft 365 & Azure
• Windows Server
• Hyper-V and/or VMware
• Networking infrastructure
• Veeam or similar solution
• Strong communication and project delivery skills
• UK driving licence
