Job description
Whilst managing the day to day running of our busy office, you will help propel our business forward by reviewing our existing systems and processes to suggest improvements and then implement them.
Within this fast-paced role, your duties will include, although not be limited to:
- Placing purchase orders for large furniture schedules
- Managing furniture deliveries with various transport companies
- Liaising with manufacturers and other suppliers
- Creating full furniture inventories
- Exporting information from furniture schedules onto estimates
- Creating invoices for clients and managing client payment summary sheets
- Processing purchase invoices
- Reporting any missing / damaged / faulty items and liaising with suppliers for returns / refunds
- Answering the telephone in a friendly manner, and transferring messages as appropriate
- Providing high level administrative support to our Designers
- Welcoming clients and suppliers to the office prior to designer meetings
- Organise team events and business travel when required
We often have to sign non-disclosure agreements for high end clients too, so you would need to be discreet and understanding of this due to the sensitivity of the documents we deal with.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Typing?, * Proven experience as an Office Manager or Senior Administrator
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong use of initiative is essential
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Accurate and timely data entry and typing skills
- Strong numeracy and literacy
- High level of computer literacy (experience of using an Apple Mac desirable but not essential)
Benefits & conditions
Part time salary will be dependent on level of experience.
You'll be employed on a temporary 6 month contract working Monday to Wednesday, 9am to 5:30pm with a one hour lunch break, based within our comfortable and modern office in Knutsford (Cheshire).
