TalentBank Technology is working with a leading organisation to engage an experienced SAP Implementation Project Manager on an initial 12-month contract. Due to increased customer demand, we are now headhunting for a delivery-focused Project Manager with a proven background in SAP implementation programmes.
This role will be based out of the client's office in Leeds City Centre, operating on a hybrid model with three days onsite per week. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of complex SAP implementation projects, working closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and end customers.
The Project Manager will take ownership of delivery governance across the full project life cycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards., * Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP implementation projects, from initiation and planning through to go-live and handover.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies across complex technical programmes.
- Act as the primary client-facing point of contact, building strong relationships with customer stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, technical specialists, vendors, and business users.
- Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid) based on project requirements.
- Ensure robust project governance, reporting, and documentation.
- Identify and proactively manage risks and issues.
- Support change management and stakeholder readiness activities.
- Provide clear updates to senior leadership and steering committees.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience delivering SAP implementation projects.
- Proven track record delivering complex technical or enterprise software projects.
- 3+ years' experience in client-facing B2B roles.
- Experience working across Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, or other asset-heavy industries (desirable).
- Experience working with large enterprise-level customers (desirable).
