Job description
As a Principle Consultant Team Lead, you will lead and mentor a team of consultants while remaining actively involved in delivery. You'll act as a trusted technical authority, guiding solution design, development, and implementation to ensure consistent quality and customer success., Leadership & Delivery

Lead, mentor, and support a team of Epicor consultants, ensuring consistency and excellence in delivery

Remain hands-on across Epicor ERP technical delivery, including customisations, BPMs, integrations, and automations

Own solution design, technical estimation, delivery planning, and deployment

Provide technical leadership across multiple projects and act as an escalation point for complex challenges

Carry out reviews, coaching, and best-practice guidance across the team
Quality & Best Practice

Drive coding standards, release management, and deployment best practices

Ensure solutions are stable, secure, and aligned to QA standards

Stay up to date with Epicor releases and identify opportunities to enhance client environments
Client Engagement

Partner with customers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Support workshops, stakeholder sessions, project updates, and technical discussions

Collaborate with functional consultants and project managers to ensure delivery is on time and to scope
Continuous Improvement

Champion innovation, automation, and process improvement

Contribute to internal documentation and technical enablement

Support team development and help grow capability across the practice
Requirements
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role where you'll combine technical delivery, team leadership, and client-facing consulting. Epicor experience is essential, and strong expertise across Finance Modules is a must., * Strong hands-on Epicor ERP experience (minimum 5+ years)

Proven expertise in Epicor Finance Modules (must-have)

Strong experience in Epicor customisation, BPMs, REST APIs, and SQL development

Experience leading, mentoring, or managing a consulting or technical delivery team

Strong estimation skills and ability to manage delivery commitments

Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management

Strong understanding of development best practices, version control, and release processes

Comfortable working across Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
Nice to Have

Epicor certifications and/or project management qualifications

Experience within an Epicor partner environment

Cloud deployment exposure (including multi-tenant environments)

Power BI, SSRS reporting, or automation tool experience
