Join GDIT as a Systems Engineer and build an impactful career in enterprise IT, collaborating with people who are driven and resourceful like you., The Systems Engineer specializing in MECM will be responsible for the configuration, management, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) to ensure efficient deployment and management of endpoints within a Microsoft environment. The candidate will work closely with other teams to integrate MECM with other cybersecurity tools, such as Splunk, Trellix, and Tenable Security Center, to monitor system health, track vulnerabilities, and ensure.
- MECM Administration: Install, configure, and maintain MECM to manage endpoints, deploy software, and ensure regular patching and updates.
- System Configuration and Patching: Ensure endpoints are correctly configured and up to date with necessary patches through MECM and related tools.
- Task Sequence: Building and deploying images as well as creating custom packages
- Cybersecurity Integration: Work with cybersecurity systems (such as FireEye, Mandiant, and Forescout) to gather and analyze endpoint data to detect vulnerabilities.
- Security Remediation: Utilize MECM for effective patching, vulnerability management, and system remediation in collaboration with other security tools.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation regarding configuration changes, patching processes, and security measures.
- Configuration and Change Management: use Microsoft tools to provide input into ServiceNow.

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Experience: 5+ years of related experience

Technical skills: Extensive experience with MECM (formerly SCCM), including the ability to troubleshoot, configure, and optimize it for large-scale environments. Proficiency in system administration, patching, and endpoint management within a Windows-based environment. Familiarity with cybersecurity tools (Splunk, Trellix, Tenable) to ensure endpoint security and compliance.

Salary and Benefit Information The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
