Job description
As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for maintenance of our Collibra Platform, enabling data governance, cataloging, and stewardship across the organization.
You will work closely with data stewards, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure Collibra is effectively integrated into our data ecosystem and supports our strategic data initiatives., * Drive the evolution of golden paths and self-service tooling repo/pipeline/ environment automation, SDK/CLI/templates) for data governance and cataloging services. Raise ADRs for improvements on the overall Collibra Platform
- Ensure governance-by-design: enforce Collibra policies and lineage in pipelines; contribute metadata needed for marketplace readiness and audit trails.
- Platform Management: Administer and maintain the Collibra platform, including upgrades, configuration, scalability and performance optimization.
- Integration: Develop and manage integrations between Collibra and other enterprise systems (e.g., data lakes, BI tools, metadata sources).
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in Application management
-
Hands-on experience with Collibra (or similar Data Governance platforms) configuration and integration.

Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data governance frameworks.

Experience with REST APIs, Java, Python, for integration development.

Advanced hands-on cloud fundamentals (Azure), IaC, CI/CD;

Good understanding of identity, secrets, network, and policy-as-code.

Experience with data mesh or data product architecture principles.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
