2nd Line Engineer (IT)

• Provide advanced-level testing for all networking and security products.
• Oversee and/or participate in projects locally and remotely involving, but not limited to, -network design, product design, and continuous network expansions.
• Visiting customer sites to troubleshoot problems that can't be fixed remotely.
• Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries
• Taking ownership of user problems and being proactive when dealing with user
• The team management experience and ability to support the junior engineers.
• Handling IT-related Projects

Do you have experience in macOS?, Do you have a Master's degree?, We are looking for someone who is willing to be part of a team, doing whatever tasks are required to deliver a top-class service to our customers. This involves sitting at your desk answering support emails and phone calls and visiting a customer's site the next day for advice on their IT systems. The one thing for sure is that it will not be dull! We believe that people skills are just as important as technical skills. So, we need people who can communicate well with our customers and who can explain technical issues in very simple terms. We need people whose values fit with our own 'friendly' values!, * Excellent communication skills (telephone and face-to-face). Being able to communicate in 'plain English' is at least as important as having good technical skills.

• Previous experience in IT Support (2nd line /3rd line)
• The ability to learn quickly - we don't expect you to be an expert in all the technology, but we want you to become one quickly.
• A self-starter who is comfortable working alone or within a team.
• Prepared to be flexible and open-minded about all aspects of the job.

Technical Skills:

• Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 (AD, DC, DNS, DHCP, Domain Migration)
• Windows 10 & 11
• MS Hyper-V or VMware.
• Office365 Administration
• Backup solution (Offsite/onsite) - Altaro, Acronis, Veeam, or similar products
• Exposure to SAN and NAS technology (Synology Preferred)
• MS intune - (desirable, not essential)
• MS Sharepoint & MS Teams Collaboration
• Meraki Experience Preferred (MX firewall, MS Switches & MR Access Points)
• Mac OS (Desirable)
