Job description
The University of Manchester is seeking a Business Intelligence Service Manager to lead the design and delivery of business intelligence services to support strategic decision-making across the institution.
What you'll do: Lead the creation of BI service processes in collaboration with IT Services and analyst teams. Develop a service catalogue and governance framework for prioritisation and change control. Engage stakeholders to co-design processes and define service standards. Drive continuous improvement through user feedback and best practice. Support the development of data products, reports, and dashboards using platforms like Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Power BI?, Proven experience in BI service delivery or data governance within complex organisations. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Expertise in Power BI and enterprise data platforms. Ability to influence and engage confidently with senior leaders. Experience in user-focused service design and workshop facilitation.
