Job description
- Design, implement and verify FPGA-based digital signal processing systems using VHDL or Verilog.
- Collaborate closely with embedded software, electronics, and systems engineering teams.
- Contribute to system-level architecture and interface definition.
- Support design verification, testing, and debugging of FPGA modules.
- Ensure designs meet relevant performance, timing, and reliability criteria for deployment in defence applications.
Requirements
- Proven commercial experience in FPGA design (VHDL or Verilog).
- Strong understanding of FPGA toolchains, preferably Xilinx (Vivado/ISE) or Intel (Quartus).
- Familiarity with simulation, synthesis, and timing analysis tools.
- Experience working with high-speed data interfaces and signal processing.
- Comfortable working in a high-integrity or safety/mission-critical environment., * Exposure to radar, RF systems, or sensor technologies.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and integration with microprocessors or SoCs.
- Background working in defence, aerospace, or secure communications sectors.
