Job description
Demand refinement (via ITBPs): Partner with IT Business Partners (ITBPs) who own demand intake to clarify objectives, validate scope, identify assumptions/constraints, and ensure the business problem and desired outcomes are well understood.
- Requirements to backlog: Convert qualified/prioritized demands into delivery-ready artefacts (epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria), ensuring items are testable and implementable; facilitate refinement sessions as needed to break down scope, confirm user journeys, and agree acceptance criteria while keeping documentation lightweight and actionable.
- Backlog ownership & prioritisation: Maintain a prioritized delivery backlog for the Innovation Factory Team streams, ensuring alignment with approved demand intent, and coordinate sequencing with delivery leads (AI products, Vibe-C, Citizen Dev enablement).
- Traceability & structured documentation: Ensure requirements and documentation are captured in a repeatable way aligned to structured documentation practices, and that changes remain traceable from demand stories release.
- Delivery enablement: Work closely with engineers and innovation leads to clarify requirements, resolve blockers, and manage cross-team execution dependencies to ensure alignment from "demand intent" to shipped increment.
- Delivery plan / roadmap view: Produce and maintain a delivery plan and roadmap view (near-term sprints + medium-term backlog outlook) including dependencies, sequencing assumptions, and release milestones.
- Outcome tracking: Implement lightweight KPI tracking for value delivered and operational impact (e.g., adoption/usage, cycle time improvements, quality indicators) and report progress to Innovation Factory leadership.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Outlook?, * Product ownership / business analysis: 5+ years' experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Senior Business Analyst delivering digital products using Agile/Scrum (story writing, backlog management, refinement, stakeholder facilitation).
- Innovation-driven delivery experience: Demonstrated ability to operate in innovation-driven environments where scope evolves iteratively, tools and approaches change rapidly, and teams learn through incremental delivery-while maintaining delivery discipline, governance, and clear outcomes.
- Requirements to delivery: Proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into implementable epics/features/user stories with clear acceptance criteria; manage priorities and support delivery execution in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Technical fluency: Strong working understanding of modern digital delivery concepts (e.g., APIs, cloud services, identity/access, DevOps basics) sufficient to collaborate effectively with engineers and architects.
- Security-by-design awareness: Demonstrated experience embedding non-functional requirements (security, privacy, compliance, availability, auditability) into backlogs and delivery plans; ensuring these are reflected in stories and acceptance criteria.
- Communication & facilitation: Strong ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders, run effective refinement sessions, and drive alignment on scope, dependencies, and release expectations.
Preferred/Bonus
- AI delivery context: Experience with Copilot Studio and/or Azure AI Foundry delivery contexts (especially AI agents, chatbots/copilots, and AI-enabled workflow solutions).
- Agentic / AI-assisted delivery methods: Familiarity with agentic delivery concepts and structured documentation/requirements approaches (e.g., BMAD or similar).
- Enablement / CoE models: Experience supporting Center of Expertise (CoE) enablement and governance models (citizen development, adoption, guardrails, training assets, "safe zone" approaches).
Outcome measurement: Experience defining and tracking lightweight product KPIs (adoption/usage, cycle time, quality indicators) and using these metrics to prioritise and refine backlogs
