Job description
We are looking for a Data Architect for Trading, Modelling & Technology in the divisional unit Munich Re Markets. Munich Re Markets focuses on reinsurance of savings- and retirement products, which typically transfers hybrid actuarial- and capital market risks to the reinsurer. The activities of Munich Re Markets include origination, structuring, valuation, risk-management and administration of reinsurance contracts in a truly international and diverse environment. Trading, Modelling & Technology manages the risks and all post-trade processes of Munich Re Markets' global book.
You will work in an interdisciplinary team that produces and hedges non-traditional reinsurance solutions and creates investment solutions for clients.
Your Job
- Facilitate coordinated execution of global transaction strategy of Munich Re Markets
- Administrate transaction management processes
- Reduce efforts in transaction approval and delivery, using modern document management concepts and artificial intelligence
- Develop, implement and maintain a concept to conveniently store, find and systematically compile transaction specific information created during transaction acquisition, implementation and onboarding processes
Requirements
Do you have experience in SharePoint?, * A proven track record in the advanced usage of Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Sharepoint and Copilot
- Strong understanding of data structures, metadata strategies and document classification
- Knowledge of data engineering basics
- Apply natural language processing (NLP) and AI techniques to analyze unstructured text from emails, documents and communication streams
- Use large language models (LLMs) to perform semantic search, generate metadata, summarize content and classify documents
- Understanding of prompt engineering to produce reliable automated analyses
- Experience in applying agentic AI approaches
- Ideally coding skills in Python, R, Power BI and SQL
- Preferably knowledge of life insurance products and capital markets and proven work experience in this field
- A problem-solving mentality and a high devotedness to support internal customers
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Fluent business German and English language skills
