At Wolt, courier communication plays a critical role in enabling high-quality delivery operations and a positive courier experience. The Engagement, Communications & Community team focuses on improving how we inform, engage, and support our courier community - ensuring communication is clear, timely, relevant, and scalable as our Germany operations continue to grow., We are looking for a versatile Operations Specialist who is as comfortable working with communication technology and automation as they are with crafting messages, supporting engagement initiatives, and shaping how we communicate with couriers. This role blends technical execution with creative communication work and is ideal for someone who enjoys operating across both disciplines.
This is a Germany-focused role, working closely with local stakeholders while aligning with global peers in similar roles to share best practices, standards, and learnings across markets., * Build, maintain, and optimize automated communication flows using tools such as Iterable (CRM), Converse, and Monday automations to support courier onboarding, lifecycle engagement, and operational updates.
- Own smaller-scale, end-to-end projects within a broader communication and engagement strategy - from setup and execution to iteration and documentation.
- Create and adapt clear, engaging courier-facing content across channels, ensuring messages are accurate, well-timed, and audience-appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with Courier Operations, Product, Operations & Strategy, and the Communication & Engagement team to translate operational needs into impactful communication.
- Use data and qualitative feedback to evaluate communication performance, identify improvement opportunities, and continuously raise the quality of courier engagement.
- Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and shared standards to help scale communication practices across teams.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Marketing?, * Hands-on experience working with CRM or marketing automation tools - candidates without any CRM experience will not be considered.
- Ability to independently execute and improve communication workflows, while being comfortable learning new tools and processes on the job.
- Experience creating or adapting courier-, customer-, or partner-facing content, with a strong focus on clarity and relevance.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners in an operational environment.
- A structured, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to connect qualitative insights with data.
- Professional working proficiency in English; German is strongly preferred, as it significantly increases impact in the local market.
- Arabic language skills are a desirable bonus and beneficial for engaging specific courier segments.
