Cloud BI Data Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines using Python, SQL, DBT, and Airflow.
• Contribute to the design of scalable data models/pipelines for analytical needs.
• Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of BI data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Support development of dashboards and reports for users.
• Promote best practices in data engineering including code quality and documentation.

• Proven experience in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Deep understanding of SQL and experience with complex querying and data modelling.
• Hands-on experience with DBT for modular and testable data transformation.
• Experience in developing data workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
• Understanding usage of Google Kubernetes Engine, Git & CI/CD.
• Ability to analyze complex data challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Organized and proactive in managing tasks effectively.
