Within Nedap Livestock, we work on the cloud platform used worldwide. In this, the teams focus on software for farmers in dairy farming and for our business partners. In this way, we strive to continuously improve life on the farm. The teams are multidisciplinary and work according to our Agile way of working. There is a continuous flow of new features. As a Software Test Engineer, you are closely involved in the development of these and are partly responsible for setting up and expanding test automation. Together with your team, you determine which tests will be automated and at what level. This requires a keen eye and gives you a lot of influence on the quality of our solutions. Besides the test activities within your own team, there are also regular solutions on which you work with several teams. In your role, you have a good overview of cross-team activities concerning testing and quality and know which test scenarios apply when a complete chain test needs to take place. Technology The technology we use within Nedap Livestock is mainly in the Microsoft corner with the hosting of the platform being hosted by Azure. Software is rolled out via CI/CD pipelines to several regions. In terms of test automation, we use, among others, the test frameworks NUnit and Playwright in combination with Reqnroll, where the tests run on the integration, front-end and end-to-end layers. Quality feedback Generic test approach Transparent Your team As a Software Test Engineer , you will work a lot with your development team. This team consists of a Product Owner, UX designer and developers. There is a friendly atmosphere and a lot of cooperation within the team. Everyone is involved from the start in the products the team works on, which ensures high functional and technical quality. You are also part of the Test discipline group. This consists of other testers who also work in the cloud R&D teams at Livestock. The purpose of this discipline group is to inform and inspire each other regarding cross-team items, your work within your team, challenges within the discipline, but also training courses and events that would be interesting for our test discipline. Requirements
As a Software Test Engineer , you ask the right questions with your keen eye. Thanks to your analytical skills and eye for detail, you know how to find even the trickiest edge cases. You communicate clearly, enjoy working together and dare to take the initiative. You are meticulous, proactive and confident. You also recognise yourself in the following:
- Experience: You have at least 3 years' work experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role. Here, knowledge and experience of test automation is important.
- Certification: TMAP and/or or ISTQB® certified.
- Knowledge: You have knowledge of Gherkin, APIs, Agile working and/or SQL
- Nice to have: Preferably you have experience with Postman, Microsoft Azure and/or Playwright
- Language Skills: You have a good command of both the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing. Good to know: You are available for 32-38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work-life balance. You are preferably present at our campus in Groenlo at least three times a week.

The salary range for this role is between € 3.800 and € 5.000 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience.
