AWS Cloud Engineer

An organisation operating at national and international scale is looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS) to support and evolve a large, security-critical AWS environment as part of a major cloud transformation programme.

You'll work closely with infrastructure, security, and development teams to design, build, and operate highly available, compliant, and cost-effective AWS services.

5+ years' hands-on AWS engineering experience

AWS Associate certification (or equivalent experience)

Strong knowledge of core AWS services, networking, and security best practices

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform)

Strong Linux skills scripting experience desirable

Nice to have:

ISO27001 experience

Containers (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker)

ITIL / structured service management experience
