Job description
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networks, applications, software, hardware, VPNs, printers, and mobile phones
- Manage incident queues and respond to customer calls
- Handle VIP user management and vendor management
- Document incident tickets and monitor communication channels for incoming incidents
- Manage Win-10 devices and provide technical troubleshooting
- Oversee antivirus management for Defender and McAfee
- Assist in device movement and management as per project requirements
- Create technical project documentation, reports, and manuals
- Build and deploy workstations with the approved standard image
- Provide Tech-Bar support for user queries and technical issues
- Manage IT desk moves, patching, and training/meeting room setups
- Handle loan laptop management and setup
- Manage IT kit retirement and device disposal
- Provide primary support for printers, including consumables replacement
- Manage Active Directory group management, account unlocks, and password resets

The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth IT operations and will have the opportunity to engage with various customers and technologies in a dynamic environment. A site vehicle will be available for needed travel to multiple customer sites within approximately 25 miles.
Requirements
- SC Clearance is mandatory
- Full UK driving license
- Experience troubleshooting issues on Windows 10 operating systems
- Knowledge in installing and configuring Starlink satellite network devices
- Experience in configuring iPhone/iPad
- Creating or deleting IDs for Joiner/Leaver/Mover on Azure portal
- Knowledge in new Microsoft Teams creation in Teams admin portal
- L1 support knowledge of applications and SharePoint
- L1 support troubleshooting of Office applications
- Effective communication skills
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Proven customer service experience
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical staff
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks through to resolution
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Understanding of virtualization environments and Intune administration
- Knowledge of supporting conference room devices and managing cloud printing
- Experience in managing asset inventory
- Desktop support experience in a Microsoft Managed Desktop environment
- ITIL certification or knowledge of ITIL processes
