Job description
As the Engineering Authority/ Senior Network Engineer you will be responsible for the production and delivery of data solutions to support the customers business requirements. You will produce / design for all data solutions including LAN/WLAN using a wide range of products from data vendors including Cisco/Extreme and help deploy WAN services including MPLS/ SD WAN. As part of the role you will responsible for solution implementation, where necessary managing 3rd party suppliers and the production of handover documentation for support and be on a fault support rota to assist with 3rd line issues. In addition you will:
- Liaise with Order Assurance , Project Managers/Co-ordinators and Change Management colleagues on a daily basis for the successful delivery of customer services including Project and Provide work on data platforms.
- Achieve agreed performance levels in line with business targets, customer requirements and functional SLA's
- Escalate issues and potential delays through Line Management channels in accordance with standard procedures to ensure that SLA's are not breached
- Provide quality assurance for 3rd party installations and upgrades.

Requirements
Do you have experience in MPLS?, * Certification or experience in Industry recognised vendors such as. Cisco/Extreme CCNP, CCIE, JNCIE, JNCIA, NRS, SRA etc.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Extreme Switches
- Extreme Wireless
- Cisco SD-WAN
- IP Addressing
- VLAN configurations
- Track record of successfully prioritising simultaneous activities within time scale and budget
- Ability to develop strong external customer relationships as well as functioning in a team environment
- Good relationship skills - sensitive to customer's needs.
