Job description
We're looking for a mid-level PHP Developer (Laravel) to join our in-house development team, working on business-critical internal web applications and systems.
This is a hands-on development role with real ownership. You'll work closely with colleagues and internal stakeholders in a collaborative, customer-facing environment, helping translate business requirements into practical, well-built technical solutions., * Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel
- Build and enhance internal systems and business tools
- Write and optimise SQL queries against relational databases
- Support and improve live production systems
- Work within MVC architecture and clean coding principles
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Support light frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test automation?, * Commercial experience with PHP
- Hands-on experience with Laravel
- Experience working with SQL databases
- Experience supporting production systems
- Understanding of MVC architecture
- Familiarity with Git / version control
- Comfortable working with APIs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders, * REST API development or integration experience
- Exposure to automated testing
- Frontend experience beyond the basics
- Experience working with existing or legacy systems, * In-house development role (no agency or client work)
