Tasks

• Drive the transformation of our contract management system to Java.
• Quickly gain oversight and coordinate implementation of components.
• Develop solutions for complex issues and ensure production readiness., * You quickly gain an overview of partial aspects and independently coordinate the implementation taking dependencies into account
• With your Java knowledge, you develop new solutions for complex problems and bring them to production maturity
• You are in close exchange with other software engineers, business analysts, and specialists in the involved areas
• You are technically responsible for the stream batch optimizations including necessary tests and work closely with internal developers and an external development team

• Higher education in computer science and several years of experience.
• Strong Java and good MS SQL database skills are required.
• Excellent communication skills and analytical problem-solving abilities., * Enthusiasm to help shape a significant transformation and the ability to take over coordination of partial aspects
• Higher education in computer science (BSc/MSc) and several years of professional experience
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and independence
• Openness to deepen your knowledge in technical topics not yet familiar to you, to understand both the new and our previous software world
• Very good Java and good database knowledge (MS SQL), which you can apply in our development environment (Intellij with GH CoPilot, Github, GHA, Maven, Jira)
• Experience with performance optimizations in Java/MS SQL, with J2EE (JBoss), batch processes as well as Stonebranch, Ansible, and Dynatrace is a plus
• Interest in working on professional pension topics to understand the connections and dependencies
• Fluent German and good English skills
