Job description
As a Development Engineer (m/f/d), you play a key role in our Production Engineering team and will bring your own ideas to life by developing new test benches and optimizing production processes. Together with our world-class team-currently six members-you will play a central role in pushing the boundaries of drone technology.
You'll work closely with stakeholders from both production and development to take manufacturing to the next level and enable our rapid growth. By optimizing production and developing new testing capabilities, you will support Quantum Systems in its mission to set the standard for aerial data collection solutions using small unmanned aerial systems (sUAVs).
What is your Day to Day Mission:
- Integrate new processes into production (create work instructions, train staff, troubleshoot)
- Execute optimization projects within the production environment
- Create work instructions and test definitions for production, including cross-departmental coordination
- Perform root cause analysis of production issues
- Manage changes across departments (global integration/communication of changes - strong communication skills required)
- Conduct time studies to identify further process optimization potential
- Understand the impact and context of changes (globally and in relation to suppliers)
- Act as the interface between development departments and production

Requirements
Do you have experience in REST?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * You have a completed degree or vocational training in industrial engineering, aerospace, or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, you have programming experience and are able to integrate and process data from a REST API.
- You're personally interested in model building, drones, electronics, 3D printing, the maker scene, or similar hobbies
- Your open, communicative, friendly, and competent manner makes it easy for others to see you as an internal expert
- You are highly self-motivated and independently drive your area of responsibility forward
- Communication in English and German comes naturally to you
