Job description
As a Lead Implementation Specialist - Travel & Spend, you will own high-complexity onboarding projects for our SMB and Enterprise customers, with a strong focus on German-speaking (DACH) regions. You'll work across Perk's Travel, Expense, and Invoice products, leading projects that often involve ERP integrations.
You'll be the driving force keeping internal teams, customer stakeholders, and external partners aligned, ensuring smooth rollouts, strong adoption, and successful go-lives. With your deep product knowledge, financial acumen, and understanding of ERP systems, you'll guide customers through sophisticated setups while acting as a trusted advisor.
In this role, you'll also lead by example, mentoring team members and helping shape a world-class implementation function.
What You'll Do
- Own and deliver high-complexity implementation projects involving ERP integrations, ensuring structured delivery and successful adoption across Travel & Spend.
- Coordinate multiple stakeholder groups, including finance leaders, project managers, IT teams, and external consultants, keeping everyone aligned on shared goals.
- Design advanced setups and complex customisations, applying creative problem-solving where standard solutions are not sufficient.
- Apply financial expertise to onboard Invoice modules, supporting customers with policies, workflows, and approval proces.ses
- Build a strong understanding of ERP systems and finance technology (e.g. NetSuite, Dynamics BC, Dynamics F&O); while you won't be coding or troubleshooting, an interest in data flows and system interactions is essential.
- Coordinate internal and external technical teams to ensure integrations are delivered smoothly.
- Proactively resolve escalations and provide clear, solution-oriented guidance when challenges arise.
- Mentor and guide junior Implementation Specialists, sharing best practices, technical knowledge, and onboarding tips.
Requirements
Do you have experience in ERP systems?, * German working proficiency is essential, as you'll communicate with German-speaking customers and stakeholders daily.
- Solid experience in customer-facing roles, including hands-on ownership of projects or implementations in a structured environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex implementations, ideally involving integrations, finance systems, or multi-stakeholder delivery.
- Strong technical and/or financial acumen gained through education or practical experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams towards a successful onboarding outcome.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple complex workstreams.
- A proactive, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience or strong exposure to self-serve or custom integrations (e.g. SSO, HRIS, SCIM, ERP, CRM).
- Background in consulting, finance, or customer onboarding / technical implementation
- Experience with Spend Management solutions or ERP implementations.
