Your mission in a nutshell: As our new Medior iOS Engineer, you'll be the creative and technical mind bringing Telus Health wellness vision to life on Apple devices. You'll take full ownership of features from concept through to App Store release, ensuring our iOS app is fast, intuitive, and delightful to use. You won't just be writing code - you'll help shape our iOS architecture, push the boundaries of what's possible on mobile, and make sure our users enjoy a smooth, personalised, and impactful health journey.
We're looking for a hands-on iOS Engineer for our Globalisation Squad, a cross-functional team shaping the foundations of the Telus Health app as it scales across regions, platforms, and products.
This squad sits at the intersection of mobile, backend, and platform architecture, ensuring our app is modular, reliable, secure, and ready for global growth. Your work will directly impact how millions of users experience wellbeing - today and in the future.
You'll collaborate with a group of software engineers, working closely with Product, Design, Data & AI, and partnering across engineering, cybersecurity, legal, and compliance to deliver a truly global-ready platform. Our tech stack includes Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit, Combine, Core Data, Alamofire, and a clean modular architecture supported by CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. We focus on quality, scalability, and building features that last.
How you will spend your time:
Designing, developing, and releasing high-quality iOS features that users love.
- Taking end-to-end ownership of your projects - from initial idea to App Store launch.
- Building elegant, responsive UIs with SwiftUI/UIKit.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features.
- Ensuring the app runs smoothly, performs reliably, and scales effortlessly.
- Integrating APIs, SDKs, and third-party tools to enhance functionality.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Drive architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Mentor and support fellow & junior iOS engineers through code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and technical guidance., * Additional health insurance coverage for 900 EUR per year

Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS development?, * 2-4 years of professional iOS development experience.
- Deep expertise in Swift and modern iOS development principles.
- Strong experience with SwiftUI, Combine or Async/Wait, and Apple's ecosystem of frameworks.
- Solid understanding of architectural patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture).
- Proficiency in working with REST APIs, JSON, and mobile app security best practices.
- You care about user experience, pixel-perfect design, and solving problems creatively.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, agile development workflows, app distribution, and crash/analytics tools (e.g., Firebase Distribution, Test Flight, Crashlytics).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
