Job description
- Support and further develop the database for one of our largest applications.
- Manage the Oracle database, which handles data management and contains most of the business logic through packages, triggers, views, and integrations with other systems.
- Oversee the management of various schemas and ensure the health and future upgrades of the database.
- Collaborate with web developer colleagues to provide daily support to business users.
- Occasionally provide support outside of office hours.
- Independently perform assignments.
- Conduct daily management of the database environment.
- Maintain the health of the database environment.
- Monitor database performance.
- Suggest improvements in applications related to database usage, such as performance enhancements.

Requirements
- IT technical/commercial education.
- Minimum of four years of experience in IT as a database administrator.
- Good knowledge of database concepts, including indexing, explain plans, and schemas.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle.
- Proficient in SQL.
