Job description
We are looking for a Technical Manager to lead our DevOps Team in Barcelona. This is an amazing opportunity to work on AWS, CI/CD Automation, AI and Data Engineering. The team consists of 5 and is reporting to the Director, DevOps. We have a great skill set in Terraform, AWS, CI/CD, automation-at-scale, Python, and we are upskilling at a fast pace with Databricks/Glue and AI development practices and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in driving technical decisions, innovation, operational excellence and managing distributed teams across the globe., Our DevOps team consists of 5 highly skilled engineers with expertise in AWS, Jenkins CI/CD, GitHub, Python, Terraform, and automation. The team works closely with development teams across Spain and India to enable smooth releases and maintain robust infrastructure. Internal stakeholders include development managers and product teams; external stakeholders may include cloud service providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
- At least 6 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a management/ technical lead role.
- Minimum 6 years of experience implementing DevOps practices with large-scale deployments and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in integrating security and optimize cloud costs into automation workflows.
- Proficient in containers & orchestration platforms with at least 6 years of experience in maintaining microservices-based architectures.
- At least 5 years of experience programming (preferably Python) with the capability to conduct thorough code reviews.
- Tech stack: AWS, Jenkins, GitHub Workflows, Terraform, Python, ECS/EKS/Kubernetes
It would be great if you also have . . .
- Experience with multi-region team management and remote collaboration.
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and infrastructure as code best practices.
- Experience on AI Development (LLM, RAG, Model Adaptation and Inference-time techniques) and modern Data Engineering practices (large processing of transitional and analytical data).

This is a full-time, permanent position, primarily working core business hours in CET, with flexibility to collaborate with teams as needed.
The position is hybrid, working in the office 2- 3 days a week.
