Job description
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, optimising, and maintaining SQL databases and supporting business-critical applications. The role also include developing and maintaining Power BI Reporting / Visualization tasks for client reporting and more functions in the company., * Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views
- Optimise database performance, indexing, and query execution
- Collaborate with application developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across databases
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
- Support reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence requirements
- Assist with database deployments, upgrades, and documentation
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, * 3-5 years of proven experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
- Strong expertise in SQL (T-SQL / PL/SQL depending on platform)
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
- Solid understanding of database design, normalization, and performance tuning
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools, such as PowerBI, SSRS, Tableau
- Experience in creating interactive dashboards
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing
- Experience of reporting tools (Power BI, SSRS, or similar)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environment
