Creative Executive (Web & Graphic Design)

We are seeking a talented and innovative Creative Executive specialising in Web and Graphic Design to join our dynamic team. This role involves developing visually compelling digital content, enhancing user experience, and building and maintaining engaging apps and websites across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in both creative design and front-end development, with a keen eye for usability and user research. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, utilise cutting-edge tools, and grow within a creative environment., * Design and develop engaging websites with a focus on responsive web design using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, and databasing systems like Postgres.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user interface designs employing tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Balsamiq, Axure, InVision, and Visio to facilitate user research and usability testing.
• Produce high-quality graphics and visual content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) for digital campaigns and branding purposes, as well as more casual platforms like Canva.
• Implement SEO best practices to optimise website visibility through content management systems like WordPress and Drupal while ensuring website maintenance and updates are seamlessly executed.
• Develop interactive features using AJAX, Bootstrap, SCSS/SASS/LESS stylesheets for enhanced user engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on information architecture, usability testing, UI/UX design principles, and content strategy to ensure cohesive digital experiences.
• Manage version control using Git or similar tools; participate in code reviews and front-end development tasks ensuring code quality standards are maintained.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in digital design, interaction design, and web technologies to continually enhance project outcomes.

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Proven experience in digital design, interaction design or web development roles with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise across graphic design and web projects.

• Proficiency in React JS, HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), PHP or Python for back-end integration.
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe XD or Figma for UI/UX design; familiarity with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics is advantageous.
• Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal; understanding of website maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics; ability to interpret data for optimisation purposes.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles ensuring seamless performance across devices.
• Strong understanding of information architecture, usability principles and user research methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git; familiarity with Node.js or Redux is desirable but not essential.
