Job description

Join BD, a global leader in medical technology, and help implement Medication Management Solutions in healthcare facilities. You will be part of the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team, which combines technical expertise and operational excellence to manage multiple integration systems, ensuring robust integration and seamless support of customer workflows. Our solutions help optimize the work of clinical and pharmacy teams by reducing inefficiencies and waste. This is a remote role based in the BNL region, preferably in Belgium, with occasional same-day travel. It involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth product integration, optimal user satisfaction, and high implementation standards. Candidates can be based anywhere in Belgium., * Design, integrate, deploy, and support interfaces between BD Pyxis ES / PIC solutions and hospital information systems (HIS/EAIs) such as Enovacom and Mirth. Ensure data flow reliability, traceability, and compliance (HL7 v2.x, PN13/SIPhII, REST, XML/JSON).

  • Collaborate with:
  • Connectivity Managers to gather requirements and co-design interfaces.
  • Project Managers for scope, milestones, and risk management.
  • Systems Engineers for installation fixes, performance tuning, and hardening.
  • Implementation Specialists for interface validation before training/go-live.
  • Conduct technical workshops for scoping and interface design, following specifications (HL7 ADT/Form/RDE, PN13 * HL7 RDE^O11), business rules, and SLAs.
  • Design mappings (PN13 * RDE^O11), monitor transcoding (CIP/UCD), filter/route ADT messages, and normalize identities.
  • Develop and execute test plans, validate HL7 messages (MSH, EVN, PID, PV1, ORC, RXE/RXA), manage anomalies, and support go-live.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting and go-live support as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in healthcare IT: HL7 messaging, REST API integration, web applications, and system integration.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy workflows or clinical experience is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the BNL region.
  • Fluency in Dutch and good command of English; French is an asset.

Salary Range Information €49,100.00 - €74,900.00 EUR Annual
