Job description

A leading UK-based construction and project delivery specialist is currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their growing team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing business delivering complex, high-value projects across the built environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project teams through effective document management, control processes, and stakeholder coordination.

This position is fully office-based and requires strong experience using Procore to manage project documentation and workflows., * Manage the full document control process across live construction projects

  • Administer and maintain the project Procore system, ensuring all documentation is correctly uploaded, tracked, and distributed
  • Control drawing registers, transmittals, RFIs, and revision tracking
  • Ensure project information is issued, received, reviewed, and stored in line with internal procedures
  • Support design, commercial, and site teams with timely access to the latest documentation
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and client teams to ensure document compliance
  • Assist with close-out documentation, including O&M manuals and handover packs
  • Promote best practice information management and document control standards across the project

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller within construction or engineering environments
  • Strong Procore experience is essential
  • Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE) and EDMS systems
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to work across multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
