Job description
We are seeking a dedicated Senior QA Technical Tester/Lead to support and enhance our Avaloq instance and its interfaces. This role involves leading test projects, devising and executing functional tests, and working closely with the automation team to facilitate script automation. The position is hybrid, with an expectation of working four days in the office, primarily in London.
Responsibilities
- Devising and executing functional tests.
- Executing and maintaining regression test packs.
- Leading test projects and coordinating test phases of projects/releases.
- Liaising with the automation team to facilitate automation.
- Building, executing, and maintaining automated scripts.
- Reporting progress to stakeholders and adhering to the Test Strategy.
- Delivering new test design and development specifications based on customer requirements.
- Creating test transactions and running tests to find and revise application programs.
- Participating in post-implementation reviews of application development content and processes.
- Supporting the implementation of application programs and fixing bugs.
- Providing status and project progress updates.
- Continually working to create a learning environment by sharing knowledge with others.
Requirements
- C# and Playwright - Automation Experience
- Knowledge of effective test design techniques.
- Experience with testing APIs and using tools like Postman or RestSharp.
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools.
- Solid understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication skills with project stakeholders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with performance/load testing.
- Hands-on Experience with at least one major test automation framework (eg, Selenium, Playwright, NUnit, xUnit, SpecFlow, Tosca).
