Backend Developer (with DevOps Expertise) - hybrid (Berlin)

As a Backend Developer with DevOps expertise at NeuroNation, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the robust systems and infrastructure that power our Brain Training platform. You'll play a key role in deploying, scaling, and securing our backend services while also contributing to feature development. Working in a cross-functional, agile team, you'll have the opportunity to bring new ideas, ensure stability and performance, and directly impact millions of users worldwide., * Deploy, operate, and maintain systems to ensure stability and scalability

• Develop new features for backend services serving millions of users worldwide
• Contribute to microservices with clean code, fresh ideas, and best practices

Do you have experience in SQL?, * 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer

• Solid experience with Docker & Kubernetes (2+ years) and managing deployments
• Strong backend skills in PHP 8.x and MySQL (including efficient SQL)
• Familiarity with Laravel Lumen or Slim, and MVC architecture
• Good testing habits (e.g., PHPUnit) and writing clean, maintainable code
• Experience with cloud platforms (Heroku, AWS)
• Passion for building meaningful products that improve people's lives
• Team-player mindset, with strong collaboration skills
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate
• Hybrid role: ability to work from our Berlin office at least 3 days per week
