Job description
The Tech Leader will act as the technical reference, driving architectural evolution across both application and Big Data ecosystems, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with business and data governance needs. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategic vision with strong execution capabilities., * Act as the technical leader and point of reference for the Datatooling platform.
- Define, evolve and govern the microservices architecture and REST APIs.
- Own key technical decisions, ensuring scalability, security and maintainability.
- Lead the integration and optimal use of ElasticSearch, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
- Drive the design and evolution of data processing solutions using Spark and Databricks.
- Oversee orchestration and scheduling of data workflows using Airflow and Control-M.
- Ensure alignment between application services and Big Data platforms.
- Define and enforce technical standards, best practices and architectural principles.
- Mentor team members and promote technical excellence.
- Collaborate with architects, data engineers and stakeholders.
- Proactively identify technical risks and define mitigation plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in code quality, observability, performance and reliability.
- Contribute to technical planning and roadmap definition.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spark?, We are looking for a Tech Leader with strong experience in microservices architectures and big data solutions to join the CDAIO Tech & Engineer team., * Proven experience as a Tech Leader or Senior Technical role in microservices-based architectures.
- Strong expertise in REST API design and governance.
- Hands-on experience with:
- ElasticSearch
- Redis
- PostgreSQL
- Solid experience in Big Data technologies, including:
- Apache Spark
- Databricks
- Airflow
- Control-M
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data platforms and scalable architectures.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Data Governance initiatives or platforms.
- Knowledge of TrueDat (IBM) or similar data governance solutions.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud platform experience.
- Ability to define cross-domain technical standards (application & data).
