Founding Software Architect

We are seeking a Founding Software Architect to define and own the core system architecture. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on platform design, data models, and long-term technical foundations.

You will work directly with the founder on first-principles architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own and define core platform architecture
• Design scalable, secure backend systems
• Establish long-lived data models and system boundaries
• Make high-impact architectural decisions
• Collaborate closely with the founding team

Do you have experience in Manufacturing?, * 12+ years experience in software engineering or systems architecture

• Proven experience designing complex, production systems
• Strong background in backend architecture and data modeling
• Experience making long-term architectural tradeoffs
• Comfortable operating in an early-stage, high-ownership environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-enabled systems
• Prior startup or founding-team experience
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments
