Job description

A highly successful and rapidly growing techn business are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join theirAgile delivery team building and evolving secure, high-volume transaction systems. This is a hands-on senior engineering role where you'll design and deliver complex features, shape technical standards, and help ensure systems remain secure, scalable and resilient. If you enjoy solving difficult technical problems, working with modern engineering practices, and mentoring others while staying close to the code then this role is for you.

Key responsibilities of this Senior Software Developer role will include:

  • Designing and developing complex features using modern .NET (C#)
  • Translating business and regulatory requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Working closely with Product Owners to refine, size and estimate work
  • Contributing actively to story pointing, estimation and sprint planning
  • Leading technical investigations and resolving complex production issues
  • Reviewing peer code to ensure maintainability, performance and security
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and release automation
  • Supporting secure integrations using certificate-based authentication
  • Driving continuous improvement in quality, automation and engineering standards

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years commercial experience with .NET and C# and strong experience building APIs, services and distributed systems. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows with a Agile environment is an advantage.
