IT Delivery Manager

About the Role

As Delivery Manager, you'll oversee the successful delivery of IT change initiatives from start to finish. You'll lead and support a diverse, multi-skilled team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

You'll work with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods, acting either as a Scrum Master for Agile teams or as a classic Project Manager for Waterfall projects. You'll also coordinate procurement activities, manage risk, maintain quality standards, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT change projects

• Manage multi-disciplinary project teams and develop high-performing team culture

• Oversee procurement, supplier management and budget tracking

• Maintain quality, risk, and change control processes

• Produce project plans, progress updates and governance reports

• Support Agile ceremonies (for Agile projects) and coach teams in Scrum, Kanban & SAFe

• Remove blockers and ensure smooth project flow

• Collaborate across departments to ensure successful project outcomes

• Degree or equivalent experience

• Project Management or Agile certification (Prince2, PMQ, PMP, SAFe Scrum Master etc.)

• Proven experience delivering IT projects

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to balance priorities and manage multiple stakeholders

• Experience working with third-party suppliers

Desirable:

• ITIL Foundation

• Experience line-managing other Project Managers

• Domain experience within similar IT/digital environments
