Job description
A Japanese Tier 2 Investment bank are looking for a Infrastructure Support Analyst on a permanent full time basis. The role will be 5 days on site based in Bank, London and will work as an 8 hour shift rotation with the shifts being 6:30am - 2:30pm, 9am - 5pm and 10am - 6pm. There is also an on-call element to the role with an weekly rotation of overnight between 6pm to 6am but this will be compensated if called., * Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network complications on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), laptops, printers, and other peripherals through the use and integration of event logs and monitoring solutions where applicable.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems (Windows 11 and Office 365), productivity suites (Microsoft Office), applications, and security software.
- Deploying and managing software updates and patches utilizing tools such as Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Employing remote access tools (TeamViewer, Remote Desktop) to provide prompt assistance to remote users.
- Providing Level 1/2 support to onsite as well as remote colleagues/users
Requirements
- Extensive Experience in desktop and Infrastructure support
- In-depth knowledge and Experience with desktop operating systems, hardware, and software, including Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, Citrix, VDI, and Exchange.
- Familiarity with endpoint security software, including antivirus and Firewall solutions
- Proficiency with software deployment tools such as Microsoft SCCM.
