Senior Consultant Data Governance

In this role, you will work directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into governance frameworks, policies, and platform configurations., * Define and drive the Data Governance vision and approach, ensuring alignment with the broader data & AI strategy.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic guidance on data governance best practices.
• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end data governance frameworks.
• Serve as the key bridge between clients and internal delivery teams, translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Share insights and coach colleagues and clients to elevate their data governance maturity and expertise.
• Facilitate workshops on data definitions, lineage, and quality expectations.
• Work with tools used for data cataloguing, lineage, and data quality (ex. Collibra, Purview).

Do you have experience in Communication skills?, * 5+ years in data governance, data management, or business analysis with a governance focus.

• Strong business analyst mindset. You can run a room of business stakeholders and translate their needs into actionable requirements.
• Hands-on experience with Collibra (configuration, implementation, or advisory).
• Fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus.
• Comfortable facilitating workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Available to work on-site with clients in the Brussels area.
• Familiarity with the broader Microsoft product suite and general data & AI concepts.
• Self-driven, well-organised, and comfortable documenting and presenting your own work.
• A team player who asks for feedback and shares knowledge naturally.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
