Job description
As a Junior Game Designer on the Supremacy Franchise, you'll work on feature design, balancing, and documentation for live games with millions of active players. Senior Designers and the Lead Game Designer will mentor you through the work, help you develop your skills, and teach you how to think like a designer. You're learning by shipping real work. You'll contribute to features, take on design challenges, and build expertise on games that keep players engaged for months and years. Your job is growing into a designer who understands not just what works, but why, * Support feature design by working on tasks owned by Senior or Regular Designers
- Help with game balancing (units, costs, rewards) using spreadsheets, playtests, and data
- Create and maintain clear design documentation (mechanics, edge cases, tooltips)
- Learn from live games by analyzing player feedback, metrics, and in-game behavior
- Collaborate with Tech, Art, QA, and UI/UX to bring features to life
- Playtest regularly, identify issues, and suggest improvements
- Grow your design skills through hands-on work, mentorship, and feedback
- Take initiative within your scope by spotting improvements and contributing ideas
Requirements
Do you have experience in Unity?, * A strong passion for strategy games, especially complex or long-term systems
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- High attention to detail in design, balancing, and documentation
- Comfort working with spreadsheets
- Curiosity, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn and improve, * A portfolio with projects, mods, prototypes, or game jam work
- Experience with free-to-play games, progression systems, or live operations
- Familiarity with Unity
- Experience in QA or playtesting
