Job description
As a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/x) at gocomo, you will play a key role in advancing and scaling our product. You will work across the full tech stack - from building user-facing features in React, to designing robust APIs with NestJS, to optimizing Postgres databases and AWS infrastructure. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, values maintainability and scalability, and thrives in cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact solutions., * Develop and maintain full-stack features using React, NestJS, and Postgres
- Architect and optimize APIs, including integrations (e.g., Instagram API)
- Manage Postgres databases, migrations, and performance optimization
- Contribute to AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams on scope, priorities, and UX
- Ensure code quality, security best practices, and maintainable, reusable solutions
- Identify technical improvements and drive initiatives to enhance scalability, performance, and reliability
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL
- Expertise in NestJS and backend API development
- Deep understanding of Postgres and AWS infrastructure
- Experience with third-party integrations, ideally Instagram API
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Full Proficiency in English; German skills are a plus
