Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer with strong front-end and full-stack capabilities to support a fast-paced SEO and digital marketing organization. This role is responsible for building high-quality, pixel-perfect WordPress themes and websites using Gutenberg and ACF: no visual site builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.).
This is not a management position; however, the ideal candidate will bring mature development practices, structured workflows, and reliable deployment standards that improve team consistency and delivery cadence.
Because our company produces a large volume of client websites, this role requires an operations-minded developer who builds with scalability, production efficiency, and long-term maintainability in mind. A strong understanding of technical SEO and site performance is essential, ensuring development decisions directly support search visibility, speed, accessibility, and measurable marketing outcomes.
Core Responsibilities

Build responsive, performant, and accessible WordPress websites using Gutenberg, ACF, and custom code

Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready implementations

Develop and maintain custom themes and plugins Establish and uphold development standards, QA processes, and deployment workflows

Collaborate closely with design, engineering, UX/UI, RevOps, and marketing teams, including support for tracking, analytics, and campaign execution

Optimize sites for performance, SEO, accessibility, and security

Conduct code reviews and provide clear, constructive technical feedback

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and serve as an escalation point when needed

Contribute to project planning, timelines, and on-time delivery of web and campaign assets
Requirements
Do you have experience in WordPress?, * 5+ years of professional front-end and WordPress development experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- WordPress theme and plugin development
- Custom Gutenberg block development and ACF-driven architectures
- Deep understanding of pixel-accurate implementation from Figma
- Proficiency with Git-based version control and modern deployment workflows
- Experience with WP-CLI, performance optimization tools, and debugging workflows
- Strong knowledge of SQL and WordPress database structure
- Familiarity with Agile collaboration across design, development, and QA
- Solid grasp of technical SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and web security best practices
