Job description

Flowserve is looking for a motivated Applications Engineer to join our team and support our aftermarket (MRO) operations. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial quotations for control valve spare parts and ensuring smooth order transfer to our Order Handling team. You will work closely with production, finance, legal, and sales teams to deliver accurate, high-quality proposals that meet customer needs while optimizing financial performance.

Your Role:

  • Prepare quotations for MRO (spare parts) and ensure timely transfer of validated orders
  • Analyze customer specifications and requirements
  • Use internal tools and systems (SPQ, SAP, IGS, AS400, calculation matrices) to build accurate offers
  • Apply approved margins in alignment with plant-specific policies
  • Validate payment terms in collaboration with the finance department
  • Format commercial offers using existing templates
  • Define lead times in cooperation with the Shipping department
  • Validate the final offer prior to submission
  • Support negotiations and monitor offer status
  • Validate incoming orders
  • Create entry pack orders and ensure complete handover to Order Handling
  • Follow up with sales representatives to support booking forecasts

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Word?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in a relevant field, or a Bachelor's degree with experience

  • Technical knowledge (hydraulics, mechanics, electromechanics, instrumentation)
  • Fluency in French ; English proficiency is an advantage
  • Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly with guidance
  • Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative, international environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach
