About the team As Team Manager Software Engineering you manage a team responsible for the software development in the Radar Core Products team. A team consists typically of 20-30 software engineers (and other relevant software development roles) and works according to the agile/scrum/SAFe methodologies. About your future job A Team Manager within is key in the support, servant leading and guidance of our main assets: our people. We believe in inspired people who act based upon their own motives, feelings and values. Strategies are being developed top-down and bottom-up; the team manager plays a role to connect, align, explain and inspire. We expect our team managers to coach and facilitate teams and maximize the talents within their teams. The last three years the Software department has grown in size. The challenge for the coming period is to grow the team maturity in domain knowledge and to develop competences, with focus on operational performance of teams and people. You are responsible for the individual performance of your team members, to enable the team to meet project objectives in relation to customer value, quality, time and budget. You will be part of the Radar core products management team and the Software Engineering Discipline reporting to the head of discipline. Our management culture is based on trust, transparency and excellence. Together with the other team managers you are responsible for the overall department results. You contribute to and play an important part in setting up and executing our strategic plans and initiate process improvements.

- Has proven management experience in a high-tech business.
- Excels in self-reflection, has the ability to build an effective team and to develop people.
- Can balance active listening with the capability to convince people towards a common goal.
- Has the drive to help succeed.
- Is analytically and verbally able to communicate with and balance interests of various stakeholders in the organization.
- M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
