Job description

The Technical Centre of Excellence (TCoE) is the technical pre-sales and enablement team for channel partners and Managed Services customers, covering all areas of Microsoft 365 Cloud products/services. The team provides technical demos, workshops and training across all M365 products (i.e. Email, Office, SharePoint, OneDrive etc), Copilot, Security, Azure and Business Applications.

The Cloud AI Solutions Technical Consultant will be the SME for Microsoft Copilot and responsible for driving engagement to key partners with an aim to accelerate AI solutions to end-customers. This will be driven through a variety of enablement sessions - technological overviews, tailored deployment scoping, readiness and adoption workshops, and business events.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Provide technical enablement and pre-sales assistance across all teams within Westcoast Cloud.
  • Work closely with customers through Microsoft solution engagements to understand their business goals, challenges, and requirements, and provide strategic guidance and best practices on how to leverage Copilot and M365 to achieve them.
  • Conduct workshops, assessments, and demos to highlight the value and capabilities of Copilot and M365 services and help clients envision their future state.
  • Collaborate with the sales teams and provide technical leadership, in customer meetings and/or during pre-sales engagements.
  • Keep yourself updated on the newest trends, features, and advancements in AI, Copilot, and M365. Share your expertise and perspectives with both the team and the wider organisation.
  • Have confidence in serving as a trusted advisor to our partners, ensuring their needs are met and effectively selling through a consultative approach that highlights the benefits of Microsoft Copilot and a cloud-first strategy. Monitor emails and respond back to partners using your in-depth knowledge and conduct thorough research in relation to the solution area.
  • Assist in additional duties outside of the primary scope of responsibilities, including cross functional projects, internal team support, and any ad-hoc tasks to contribute to the overall success of the team and organisation

Requirements

Do you have experience in SharePoint?, To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:

  • Experience of delivering enablement on Copilot, M365 and/or Business Applications, non-Microsoft products. Good working experience of supporting Modern Workplace users.
  • Knowledge of Security Tools and Infrastructure (Microsoft Defender, Intune, etc) as well as security principles.
  • Strong understanding of AI and Microsoft Copilot tools and concepts (including Copilot Studio)
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into commercial value (quantifying ROI)
  • Willing to learn and co-operate as part of a team, and maintain/drive robust technical standards
  • Good communication, literacy and organisational skills. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both, technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A logical approach to influence technology strategies and decisions with a high-level of expertise and knowledge
  • Able to follow existing processes and assist in designing new ones. Show initiative in finding improvements.

Ideally, you will have Microsoft Certifications (MS-102, AZ-104, SC-900, AI-900, PL-900, PL-600) or be working towards these.
