Job description

The Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for supporting, enhancing, and developing the organisation's IT infrastructure across both on-premise and cloud environments. The role will have a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Business Central administration, ensuring systems remain reliable, secure, and aligned with the wider IT strategy. Working closely with the IT Infrastructure & Services Manager and the IT Director, this role will help deliver scalable and efficient technology services that meet current and future business needs., * Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and security policies.

  • Support Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, networking, identity management (Entra ID / Azure AD), and resource optimization.
  • Assist with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central operations, integrations, and user support.
  • Contribute to IT infrastructure planning, capacity management, and continuous improvement initiatives in partnership with senior IT leadership.
  • Oversee and maintain end-user computing standards for PCs, laptops, and mobile device management.
  • Monitor and maintain corporate network, including LAN/WAN connectivity, wireless systems, and VPN remote access solutions.
  • Administrate the IT helpdesk system, ensuring incidents, requests, and change management processes meet defined SLAs.
  • Manage procurement of IT hardware, software, and licensing in alignment with budget and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection regulations.
  • Support strategic IT projects such as infrastructure migrations, cloud transformations, and Business Central enhancements. The role will also contribute to the organisation's ESG strategy by supporting sustainable technology choices, improving accessibility and security, and helping ensure responsible governance across all IT systems.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN?, * Proven experience in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune).

  • Strong Azure management skills including resource groups, virtual networks, VM provisioning, and backup policies.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central operations and integration support preferred.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Hands-on experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems and IT service management practices.
  • Knowledge of hardware/software procurement, vendor management, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting or equivalent automation tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Proactive and adaptable with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Strategic thinker capable of balancing operational needs with long-term goals.
