Job description
We are partnering with a client delivering critical national security programmes who are looking to bring in an experienced Manual Tester to join their secure delivery team. This is a hands-on testing role within a highly secure environment, supporting systems that have a direct and meaningful impact on national security.
You will play a key role in ensuring quality across complex platforms, working closely with engineering and delivery teams throughout the full development lifecycle., * Execute comprehensive manual testing across complex, secure systems
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts
- Perform functional, integration, system and regression testing Identify, log and track defects, ensuring clear documentation and resolution
- Collaborate closely with Developers, DevOps and Delivery teams within Agile environments
- Contribute to overall test strategy and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Active eDV clearance (essential)
- Strong background in manual testing within complex technical environments
- Proven experience writing detailed test documentation and defect reports
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience testing APIs, integrations and backend services
- Ability to work full-time on-site in London
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
- Exposure to non-functional testing (performance, security, usability)
- Previous experience supporting government or national security programmes
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, ALM or similar
