Job description
We are seeking an experienced Solution & Technical Architect to design and assure secure, compliant, enterprise-scale technology solutions across cloud, infrastructure, data, integration, EUC and Operational Technology (OT). This consultancy role delivers outcome-focused architecture aligned to regulatory and security standards including ONR SyAPs, Export Control, SNI handling, Cyber Essentials and the Azure Well-Architected Framework. You will provide secure-by-design architecture, defensible assurance and technical leadership across multi-vendor, highly regulated programmes., * Lead enterprise, solution and technical architecture across complex hybrid environments.
- Produce high- and low-level designs, roadmaps, reference architectures and technical decision records.
- Design secure, compliant solutions aligned to ONR SyAPs, Export Control, Cyber Essentials and zero-trust principles.
- Define integration, data flow and cross-organisation boundary architectures.
- Provide technical governance, audit evidence and service assurance across programme delivery.
- Support procurement through supplier evaluation, technical requirements and cost optimisation.
- Architect Azure landing zones, identity, networking, EUC and platform services.
- Advise on OT networking, IT/OT boundary controls and site delivery integration.
- Support DevOps, CI/CD, service design and transition-to-live across multi-vendor environments., * Secure, compliant architecture aligned to business and programme outcomes.

- Scalable, reusable cloud and platform patterns.
- Effective multi-vendor delivery across complex regulated environments.
Preferred Certifications TOGAF, ITIL, Microsoft Azure (AZ-104/305/500), Lean Six Sigma, networking or PLM-related certifications.
Requirements
- Enterprise and solution architecture across cloud, infrastructure, security and data.
- Strong Azure expertise (IaaS/PaaS, networking, identity, policy-as-code, DevOps).
- Security and compliance design within regulated or government environments.
- Experience with hybrid cloud, EUC (DaaS/MDM), networking and integration platforms.
- Knowledge of OT/ICS environments and enterprise-to-OT boundary controls (desirable).
- Vendor management, technical governance and architecture assurance.
- TOGAF/ITIL-aligned governance and design authority experience.
